In 2012, I made the difficult decision to leave my teaching career behind, believing that a path in journalism would offer greater financial stability. I assured my boss that if I didn't succeed in this new venture, I would return to the classroom. Fast forward ten years, and I find myself grappling with the same question: was leaving the right choice?
Initially, the excitement of pursuing a passion for storytelling and reporting overshadowed my concerns about financial security. The decision weighs heavily on my mind as I navigate the complexities of my career.
